Our Board and Management team are highly experienced in the broader resources industry. They have played leading roles previously in the exploration and development of several large and diverse mining projects in Australia and Africa. In this regard, key Alliance Nickel personnel have a demonstrated track record of success in identifying, acquiring, defining, funding, developing and operating quality mineral assets of significant scale.

Peter Sullivan BE, MBA
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, appointed 24 june 1996
Mr Sullivan was appointed chairman in March 2017. Mr Sullivan is an engineer with extensive experience as a non-executive director and in senior executive roles, including in chief executive officer and operational roles. He has over 30 years’ experience working with ASX-listed resource companies and has been closely involved with the strategic development of resource projects and companies with input across technical, financial, regulatory and governance matters. He has worked across multiple jurisdictions including countries in Africa, North America, Europe and Asia.

Paul Kopejtka B.Eng (Ch) AICD
Managing Director, appointed 19 September 2022

Mr Kopejtka is a Chemical Engineer and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has over three decades of leadership experience in the Australian and international resources industry.

Mr Kopejtka has led numerous companies and most recently served as the Managing Director and CEO of unlisted mining company Alliance Mining Commodities Limited which owned the World class Koumbia bauxite project in Guinea, West Africa. Paul has direct experience in nickel laterites having been involved in the development of the Bulong Nickel-Cobalt refinery in Western Australia. Paul is an experienced mining executive and well connected into the equity / capital and debt markets.

James Sullivan FAICD
Non-executive Director, appointed 28 September 2004

Mr Sullivan has over 30 years’ experience in commerce providing services to the mining and allied industries. This includes over 15 years in corporate roles with ASX-listed mining and exploration companies, including the successful IPO of Kumarina Resources Limited (now Zeta) in November 2011. James is formerly the Managing Director of Alliance Nickel Limited and continues as a Non-executive Director. James is also a Non-executive Director of Horizon Gold Limited (appointed April 2020).

Klervi Ménahèze
Non-executive Director, appointed 14 February 2024

Mme Ménahèze is Vice President of Sustainability ESG and Eco Design in the Raw Materials Division at Stellantis N.V., the Company’s strategic partner and investor. She is a highly experienced automotive industry executive with 20 years’ experience with Stellantis. She plays a pivotal role in securing Stellantis’ raw materials supply under stringent social and environmental responsibility guidelines and is instrumental in helping Stellantis achieve carbon net zero emission by 2038. Klervi graduated from the prestigious engineering school Ecole Centrale in Lyon, France.

David Edwards
Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, appointed 22 March 2023

Mr Edwards is a chartered accountant with over 25 years international experience with a broad skill set spanning financial management, project financing, capital markets, corporate governance, construction and mining operations. He has previously worked for Clough, Fortescue Metals Group and earlier stage ASX listed resources companies.

Lloyd Dolman
OPERATIONS

Lloyd Dolman is a Minerals Engineer, with over 25 years of experience in management, operations and project development.

Commodity experience includes gold, iron ore, bauxite and nickel, with recent management roles in project design and development in projects across Australia and Africa

Jason Gray
Logistics Manager

Jason Gray is a Professional Engineer (MEng) and Geologist (BSc Geology) with over 28 years’ experience in Mining, Project Management, Consulting Engineering and Major Infrastructure Industries. Jason’s expertise lies in the areas of developing and managing diverse cross-disciplinary teams, as well as commercial, operational and project management. Jason has been involved in Project Management and Directorship for projects and feasibility studies in the mining and civil industries, as well as business unit operations, commercial management and leadership.

Jason has gained operational, commercial, project management and technical experience in Australia as well as overseas projects in India, Malaysia, Mexico and China.

Terry Quaife
Manager Studies

Terry Quaife is an Engineering professional (BE Mech) with 40 years experience in the mining and minerals industry incorporating project feasibility studies and project delivery (design, construction and commissioning).

He has extensive experience across a range of commodities including iron ore, gold, copper and nickel (as design manager for the Cawse Nickel Project). He has worked for a number of majors including Newcrest, Newmont, Glencore, Roy Hill and FMG on major projects in Australia and Africa.

LINTON KIRK
Mining Manager

Linton Kirk is a Chartered Professional Mining Engineer (BE(Min) FAusIMM(CP)) with over 40 years varied experience in mining, earthmoving and management. Operating experience includes gold, iron ore and copper in five countries prior to becoming a consultant in 1997. Operation roles culminated in two General Manager positions on operating gold mines.

Main consulting areas include project audits and reviews, feasibility studies, supply and service tenders and contracts. Linton has also been a Non-Executive Director of two ASX listed companies, including MACA Ltd for 9 years up until November 2021.

Daniel Goldhahn
Financial Controller

Daniel Goldhahn is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years experience in audit and commerce roles specialising in financial reporting, treasury and governance functions.

After starting out in audit with Moore Australia (WA), Daniel was previously a Finance Manager at Alliance Mining Commodities Limited and Bauxite Resources Limited.
